Live Online Lessons for Schools Available via your connection for $75/ first 30-40 minute session, all subsequent sessions the same day $50/session.

• Available 30 minute online presentations:

  • The Sky Tonight: the constellations, stars, and planets that are visible on the night of the presentation with Q&A. (Grades K-6)

  • A Tour of the Solar System with Q&A. (Grades K-6)

  • Sky Stories: skylore with pictures—storytelling about the sky. (Grades 2-6)

  • Stories of Orion: skylore that focuses solely on the stars of Orion. (Grades 3-6)

  • Heroes, Gods, & Monsters: A live storytelling presentation on Greek and Roman myths about the stars, and constellations. The myths presented vary with the time of year, but may feature stories such as: The Myth of Orion, The Labors of Hercules or Andromeda and the Whale. (Grades 5-8)

  • Super Moon: a presentation about the Moon, its features and phases with Q&A. (Grades 3-6)

  • Earth, Our Home in the Cosmos: a presentation about Earth’s motions, the Moon, and a brief tour of the planets with a Q&A. (Grades 3-6)

  • Stars: What are stars and how do they work? Exploring the Sun first, we then discuss star colors, how stars are created, and how they die yielding white dwarfs, supernovae, and black holes. (Grades 5-8)
